We are delighted to announce that the A.A.S. and all its existing archives, including the EvD Foundation, will be returning "home" to the former Mystery Park after 20 years.
Many of our readers and other interested parties have known for some time that the JungfrauPark, which had been the proposed location for so long, has since been sold. This past weekend, Platinum members were able to witness the moment when Ramon Zürcher and Ralph Horat, the CEO and concept developer of the new facility, signed the lease agreement.
On behalf of the entire family, I extend my heartfelt thanks for the countless expressions of condolence and the outpouring of sympathy. These were signs of the connection shown by people who treated Erich von Däniken with respect and friendship during his lifetime and who will continue to remember him fondly even after his death. Feeling this connection was a comfort to us.
We cannot personally acknowledge all these many expressions of sympathy, but they were read and appreciated.
Erich von Däniken was laid to rest on January 29th in an urn grave in the cemetery in his hometown of Beatenberg, "the most beautiful place in the world," as he often said.
